Post plant broadcast- Urea, surface applied @ 160 # p/A, May 22, 2009 Seed Population: 30,000 Application: Injected into substance drip irrigation, June 12, 2009 Overall Moisture: Rainfall- above average resulting in low irrigation requirement. Received 5.32" rain precipitation and 1.53" irrigation precipitation Protocal: Applied 30# of each SDI fertilizer with Plen-T Phos or Avail added at 0.5 gal to 100 gal. Planted 8 rows with 4- row no till planter Harvested inside middle two rows Results analyzed using ANOVA procedure in SAS 9.1 Plots are with starter fertilizer and without starter fertilizer Also measured precipitation in drip solution Plots 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 are fluid fertilizer Plot 6 is granular fertilizer dissolved in water before application Comment: Did not receive precipitation results but saw report. Less preciptates with AC Start 5-20-5 and Plen-T Phos. Plot with in furrow starter yielded only 1.9 Bu more than no in furrow starter LSD (a=.05) is 11.03 |
